This and That

WEST TEXAS FIRES:
This photo (left) was taken from my son's front yard on the kids' ranch in west Texas during the worst of the fires. Fortunately, the fire didn't make it to their house, but the power lines burned so they were without electricity for a couple of days.
Fires all over Texas! Horrible! Too much wind, too little rain!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!:
Hubby and me  (right) on our way to the Broken Spoke to do a little chicken fry eatin', Lone Star drinkin', and belt buckle polishin' for my birthday.  Didn't stay long as we're just not that into late nights anymore, and I can only drink two beers, but it was still fun.

NEW MEXICO VS TEXAS ROLLERGIRLS:
Photo (left) is of best friend Deb and her boyfriend Joe (visiting from New Mexico), double-teaming a Ramonas Rollergirl (c). Deb, Joe, Crouse and I had a blast watching the Texecutioners Rollergirls annihilate the Cincinnati Black Sheep Rollergirls last Sunday at the convention center.  Not sure of this rollergals name, but it was probably something like The Killa Sal Monella, Babe Ruthless, or Sinnerfold.

G'RAJ MAHAL:
After rollergirls we rolled over to Rainey Street for   samosas, curry, naan, fab lamb, and Gypsy music. Magic!
